"At Christmas I no more desire a rose,
Than wish a snow in May's new-fangled shows;
But like of each thing that in season grows."
William Shakespear
Christmas is fast approaching......but I have beautiful red roses with evergreens on my kitchen table.
Sir William...I love your writings.
On occasion, they don't make sense to me.

Joyce,
I love your rose in the snow picture - it is so lovely! Boy, I don't always get "Mr. William" either but what I do get is beautiful! Hope things are going better for you!

I get what he's saying. No rose in snow; No snow in Spring's show; But everything in its season.
But boy oh boy, you showed him! Hee hee...
I mentioned you in my current post. I'm revamping it a bit, so wait about a half an hour.
Love you, KJ
Hi Joyce.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New year!
Hugs, Sharon
Joyce, I lost your mailing address, so could you please email it to me. I hope that you are feeling better and the Christmas spirit has arrived at your house. For me, it's all about the giving. Sorry I didn't go to Baton Rouge, but I know that someday I will get up there to meet you. Wishes to you and your family for a Blessed and Merry Christmas. Love and hugs, Pat
Joyce,
Wanted to stop by and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a great and Happy New Year. I know things are not so great for you right now but I'm praying that things will turn around in 2011! God will take care of us!
