Oh My Goodness!!!

I am overwhelmed by the kind sentiments I have received from so many of you out there.

As you can see.........I haven't updated anything here at "The Secret Gardener" in 7 days. Today is the end to a crazy week for me.

Add in to this...that I ended up in the Emergency Room at one of our local hospitals early last Thursday morning in terrible pain..worse than childbirth mind you.

Pain that was so severe it made me throw up over and over again until there was nothing left to give.
This went on ALL night for six hours. Chronic pain and distress.

It is the "wretched Gall Bladder issue" that I had wrote about a few weeks back.
Flaring up big time this night like never before.

Finally I had been through enough.

My husband took me to the E.R...which we don't frequent at all so you know it must have been bad.
After arriving and the taking down of important information they got me to a room and gave me an IV to start with because I was so dehydrated AND they added in a "anti-nausea med" and some sort of a pain killer which I was SO thankful for at that point.

After several hours they sent me home. Since I already have an appointment with a Surgeon tomorrow and my lab tests showed no "infection"...they determined it was not an emergency to the degree that they needed to bring in that Dr. and that I could hopefully make it to Monday to confer with him.

Tomorrow will be "Monday"and I have been inching along trying to get to this day.

Being ill is such a drag. Not fun at all and I have the deepest compassion for anyone in pain. Only because I have been through it and not just because of this experience. I have another health issues which generates pain...but this Gall Bladder thing was pretty overwhelming.

I greatly appreciate all your prayers.

I have never been "put under" nor have I ever had a surgery. It does make me a bit anxious the thought of doing both of those things...and all at once, yet after the other night...I say lets get this figured out so I don't ever have to go through that again!

I'll keep you all updated.

Thank you SO much for your support...it makes me feel a lot better already to know that people ALL over the country are praying for me ALREADY!

I love how this works!!

It's a "sowing and reaping" thing you know...all working in a very GOOD way!
I've sown prayers for various people I don't even know..now it's my turn to REAP prayers from people I don't even know.
And some I do!

Very humbling to say the least.

~Thank you Charlotte for alerting people to pray for me on "Spiritual Sundays."~
I really, really, appreciate it!

Joyce, I hope they can fix it without surgery. I will say some prayers for you. I am finally back on line, so late at night or early morning is the best time since I have dial up.
I got some of my results today---no cancer, but it's possible that it's kidney stones or my gall bladder. Dr. Roth will call as soon as he looks at the CT scan, which was supposed to be in his office today. Your glass is half full, so I know things will be fine. Luv Ya, Pat

Dear Joyce, I just read your comment on Beverly's post today. I went through the same thing a few years ago. Don't b afraid, this is pretty easy surgery compared to most. I am sorry you had to go through such pain.

Prayers are being said for you and I will be constant until I know all is well.

Blessings, Jeanne

Joyce, I also didn't know this was going on! I'm praying. Let me know when the surgery will be. (BTW, I had my gallbladder out almost three years ago - never knew I was having problems with it until I had crushing chest pain and we all - ER staff included - thought I was having a heart attack. But my recovery was easy and I felt so much better afterwards. Seems I DID have problems with my gallbladder after all! :^) I would love to come by and bring you tea and scones during your recovery!
