"The Tales Of Two Sisters"...nearly to the end of this novel trip.

It's been a good journey for Jenny and Joyce..........but it's nearly over now.

Time is closing in on us like an old enemy. That seems to be how it always works.

We've made alot of memories.....
Some we won't soon forget.

Though I hate to leave my sister and my family up here....I am missing my husband and children.

It's time to go to my home...where I belong.
Oh the "tales" we have woven on this journey....some of which I will share with you all soon.

I fly home tomorrow....and as soon as I "de-jet lag".....I'll be back to writing and more.

One short note:
A huge thank you to those of you who prayed for Marianne.......her "life celebration" was very "touching and inspiring" yesterday my family tells me.

Please do pray for Guy and his three little girls....they are beautiful and just the most wonderful people.
My daughter Ariel just kept telling me "Mama Pastor Guy is so strong...he's doing so good."

We all know that is the total "grace of God...."
He and those little girls will need much more grace and favor in the days ahead.
But I know they will get through this huge loss.

I know that "grace of God" at the time of a loved one's death. It is there for one to draw from, He will provide and comfort them. It was, and still is, surprising to me, how one can get through such loss and be stronger in faith and love. God is good that way. (smile)

Hello girl.. I have missed so much of all my blog buddies this summer. I have had such a tragic summer and such drastic change in my life..

I so pray for you and your family. Losing jobs is so traumatic and I pray that when God sees that door close HE will open a window.. I am glad that you had time with your sister.. I have a sister but she is full of hate and jealousy and we have been estranged for years now.......... I pray you had a safe trip home and I know that you are enjoying being back home with hubby!

Joyce, sounds like you and Jenny had a great time, but sorry it has to end. I'm sure you have a tale or two, but the ticket was heartbreaking. The cops sure don't make it easy on people anymore.

The picture of Marianne and her family is lovely. I will continue to pray for Guy and his daughters so that he may continue to spread the gosple. Love Ya, Pat

I keep hearing the old duet in my head, "Sisters, Sisters" from Holiday Inn

"Sisters, sisters
There were never such devoted sisters,
Never had to have a chaperone, No sir,
I'm here to keep my eye on her
Caring, sharing
Every little thing that we are wearing
When a certain gentleman arrived from Rome
She wore the dress, and I stayed home
All kinds of weather, we stick together
The same in the rain and sun
Two different faces, but in tight places
We think and we act as one
Those who have seen us *
Know that not a thing could come between us
Many men have tried to split us up, but no one can
Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister
And Lord help the sister, who comes between me and my man"

I'm so glad that you have had such a fab time with someone who is undeniably your sister! There's always a bittersweet ending it seems: having a good time but missing family. But, I know you have chalked up some keeper memories!

I don't have a sister, so I love watching those who do!

Hugs, KJ
