so finally at 12:12am.....I have a few spare moments to do just that. :~)
Graduation cake......notice the hand holding the last cupcake. "Miss Priss" had swiped it before I took the photo and it looked like Luke had graduated in the Class of "200" so she held it back in for the photo.

Luke is already registered to attend College in the Fall at the "Baton Rouge Community College" which has about 9000 attendees.....as compared to LSU's 35 thousand.We felt it best to "start out small. Besides he was very freaked out by the size of BRCC as it was.....so this works. HA!
Very tired Graduate.....umm...I took this photo when I went in his room to turn off his TV that he had fallen asleep watching. He'd pass out if he knew I had taken this and put it on here...HA! Oh well...
I'm so GLAD this is over...
Gabe flew back to the East Coast today..well Friday that is...he's going to be in Cape Cod for the Memorial Day weekend. Must be nice.

What a great cake. But I don't quite get the concept. What is it atop the cupcakes? I mean, what is it made of? And didn't it smash the cupcakes?

The "Graduation Cupcake cake" is a bunch of cupcakes...I think there were 28 of them..with tons of frosting on them....uummmmm.....all arranged to look like a "Diploma".....then there were 4 under it with the numbers..."2-0-0-8" on them....I know it was CRAZY and unusual and tasted GREAT! HA!
That's hilarious that part of the cake was taken before the picture. After looking at the photos, I thought Luke was graduating college. But I see that he's graduating high school. My baby boy will be graduating in 3 years.
