The Wedding of Miss Ariel and Mister Joshua

Finally......the BIG day came. Last Saturday to be exact. I thought it would never come at the end. I was ready for it to happen. Then the day before...I was a bit concerned as to such things like..."how does this all happen and how will I feel" and those sorts of questions a Mama has.

But the time came and the wedding was beautiful and so was the Bride...and of course the Groom was dashing and handsome.

Here now are a few "random" photos that a friend of Joshua's took.
The actual Wedding photographs aren't back in our hands from the photographer yet.
So these will have to sufice for now.

The "Kiss"
"Mr. and Mrs. Davis"
The New Happy Couple
The Mother and Dad of the Bride getting ready for photos with the Newlyweds.
The Bride and her Mother and Father
All of our Mahan Clan with Joshua and Ariel and my sister Jenny and her children
More of the Bride and Groom

Joshua and Ariel during the reception
Cutting the cake
Ben our good friends son from Florida and Ariel
Ben and his Daddy...our good friend from Florida who helped do part of the wedding service and the worship music during the service.

Did I mention that my husband performed the service?? He walked our little girl down the aisle....our good friend Donnie did the "who gives this woman to this man thing" to which my husband answered "her Mother and I" then Donnie left that position and my husband took over.

It all was so wonderful and a bit like a blurr now. We can't wait to see the video's from the wedding.

The Honeymooners are off on a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean.

The family from Iowa went back home this past Monday, and the friends from Florida went back home this past Monday...one guest who was our "video guy" came in from Kansas City, leaves back for there tomorrow.

Now....I say to you all..... who needs a cruise?? I think my husband and I do except now we are broke. HA!
Now I need to get a REAL job.
Let me know if you know of any here in the Baton Rouge, area.

I had been waiting for photos!
The event was beautiful but not as much as the bride and groom.
You can rest now...
Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos.
Hope you have a wonderful week.

Yes, I was fortunate enough to be there. All Joyce said is true and then some.....a beautiful meaningful day for many beautiful souls. Joyce, your detailed efforts were evident, the ceremony was poignant, the food was wonderful, the made-for-each-other couple can look back on a perfect day, which is as it should be. Love you, Marsha

It is a strange feeling when it is over - apart from being broke!!LOL, it seems a bit flat as we have been pouring all our energy into that one event.
