Kilts and Bagpippers

See.....women wear Kilts too!
And play Bagpipes and drums....
This is a family group from the New Orleans area named
"Haggis Rampant" who performs at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival and other various events.

My Tea group enjoyed their music very much.Father and Daughter having a little "Pipes" contest. It's always awe inspiring to hear Bagpipers, especially when the play the traditional Scottish songs that you often hear and of course.....then there's "Amazing Grace."

When they played it....I had goosebumps and nearly cried it was such a powerful moment.
Interesting how music can affect a person.

Ooh, you can imagine how wonderful this would be to me as a Scottish lady. The only Scottish festival close to me is the St. Andrew's Day celebration in Fargo, ND. I hope to get there someday!

How I wish I could have been there. Of course, being Scottish, bagpipes always move me to tears too.
