Sunday Garden Tea...

Finally the much awaited day arrived.
We had primped and prepared and cleaned and cooked and so on and so forth.

However
...I did have to change the name of my "Garden Tea" to......
"The Hotter Than Hades Tea."

Our temp yesterday was over 93 degrees.......for some odd reason we are "unseasonably WARM" right now for May.
Yet, as it is said, "The Show Must Go On" and it did.

Setting up table schemes.

Otherwise, everything went according to plan...except for the scalding heat of course.

Someone PLEASE remind me to NEVER plan another outdoor Tea Party for May in Louisiana. I keep thinking I live in the Midwest still at times.

~Please Stay Tuned~

More photos to come!!!

Joyce, happy that your Tea Party went well. Oh the heat and humidity is really getting to me. I'm just not in the mood for anything today, so I crawled back under the covers and went back to bed. Life feels empty except for the things I'm doing for Cancer Aid bingo. I would be serving Ice Cold tea right now, but it means heating up the kitchen which is already 90 degrees in it. Stay cool--looks like no close beaches to go to this year. Hugs, Pat

Joyce,
Can't wait to see your photos...your tea parties are always a treat for us too! I'm so sorry about the oil on your coastline. It is horrible.

Hugs,
Jean
