It's been a long, hot, summer, for most of us I know.
And for a great portion of it..I've been AWOL.
Oh, I dislike it when people "fall off the planet" as I call it.
Now I fell victim to the same thing.
Don't you hate when that happens?
But happen it did.
No apologies really.
I needed the break.
But I have been so busy,
Doing things like:
Sipping cold tea, with friends, swimming,
and a million other such things
trying to stay cool on these 100 degree plus days.
In mid July when it was horribly hot,
Mrs Priss and I went on a little, quick trip to Dallas.
It was only 117 the first day we were there.
However, it didn't matter.
We needed this little trip
It was a great excuse
for us to capture some precious
"Mom and Daughter"
time.
Something we don't always get alot of.
And we both still had a bigger purpose
in traveling all that distance
through the
"blast furnace"
of the
United States
disguised by the name
"Texas."
We just had to see this beautiful lady
Who happens to be a dear, friend.
(Rache)
She is a close family friend...like a daughter really.
And since she was in the U.S. on holiday from the U.K.
We just had to get up there to see her.
We are so grateful we did!
We hadn't seen her in person in nearly 7 years.
(Sweet baby girl)
Just had to watch her sweet little girl ride the Carousel pony.
And just had to do a bit of shopping with the girls.
(Mrs. Priss & Rache)
During these hot, busy, summer days.
I've lacked in writing creativity a bit......
But never in "Vision."
In fact I've been very busy planning.
Great things
on the horizon for the Fall.
A small hint is included in this post.
But I've sworn to secrecy for now..
So I can't divulge any details until the appointed time.
Just dream with me a bit.
Cheers!

Are you on the right or left? Ha!
You look so cute and you needed a break! You will no longer find me at ATAA but I will continue to visit you here!
I needed a break, too. And still do.
Hot, hot, hot. I know Dallas heat but my experience was not as hot as New Orleans.
And here we were basking in n our coldest and wettest summer for 3 years. Don't think the pink car would get stolen!!
Well girl.... If you do go to England, you have a wonderful time.. I lived there for 3 years and would love to go back for a visit.. but most likely will not.. sooooooooooo I will wait anxiously for your announcement........
I am thankful for the break in the weather... it has been brutal here in Oklahoma
Thanks for the beautiful comment on my blog...... Time for me to get on with my life and allow the sweet memories to flood my mind as I wait patiently to join Mom and Dad...
